We're still here

We are still here. Doing okay, just trying to not float away. I will update soon with pictures.

Waiting is so hard

So Fay is churning away over Florida. Her path has changed so much that I just don't know what to think of this all. We went out and got some supplies, just in case. But I am just anxious. Chris has duty tomorrow so I will be here all by myself with the kids. This storm could be nothing or it could turn into something. Either way we are prepared. I bought supplies that are nonperishable so we have now started our hurricane closet as I am calling it. Its not really a closet, but a cabinet in the garage that is just about filled with canned goods, flashlights, candles and water. I hope that we really don't need any of it, but we have it.
For all of you here in town, be safe! For everyone anywhere else... I'll update soon. :)

Busy weekend...

We got a Wii a few days ago. Kenneth was boxing Adrianna and he acually won.

Lilly was giving her daddy cute baby kisses.

They are just so adorable together.

Today at our picnic. Isn't she just beautiful?

Adrianna and Kenneth needed to push Lilly. They insisted!

We actually got them to sit together without fighting. Amazing!Adrianna took this one for us. She loves to take pictures.

She is just so beautiful. I can't not take her picture. And I just have to share.

Kenneth was supposed to be napping, but this is what he was really doing. I really don't care as long as he was quiet and stayed in bed.

This is Kenneth with one of his friends from a couple of houses down. They were playing in the playplace at McDonald's.
These are from tumbling class last Thursday. The kids just love it!

We've been keeping pretty busy the past few days. Its wonderful having Chris home on the weekends. We are able to go places and do things together with the kids. It's great!

So Friday was our anniversary and I had it already set up for the kids to go to friends' houses so Chris and I could go out. We had a fantastic evening. We started off the evening by going to our favorite Japanese restaurant, Wasabi. Granted we haven't tried very much Japanese, but this one is great. We shared a little sushi and enjoyed every minute of it. Next stop was Dave and Buster's. We had heard it was a really neat place. Something like Chuck E. Cheeses for adults. Once we got there we weren't too impressed. It was kind of fun, but not too great. We played some games and he beat me at everything. I almost won at air hockey, but not quite. But after an hour of so we left. After that we just went driving for a bit and ended up at the beach. It was dark by then but the beach was wonderful. The sand was so nice and the weather was great. We walked around at the water's edge for awhile and just enjoyed it being us. We really do enjoy one another still. :) I almost didn't want to leave. I tried to convince him to stay the night on the beach. He wasn't so sure that would be a good idea so we left after awhile. It was getting pretty late by then, but I wanted dessert. He had to treat me to dessert on our anniversary now didn't he? Well we went driving some more, and managed to find our way to the Cheesecake Factory where we each got a slice of disgustingly delicious cheesecake. Yummy! And that was about it for out evening out. I had such a good time and I really hope to continue dating my husband for many years to come. :)
Saturday was a pretty laid back, uneventful day. Only a minor dinner disaster to mar the day. Today, Sunday, we got up and went to a local waterfront park and had a picnic and let the kids play. It was alot of fun.
I know I've said it before but I am going to say it again. I love off crew. It's great having him here to do these things. Well now we're pretty caught up on updates. Enjoy the pictures.

Chris and I got married on this day 4 years ago. We have been going strong every since. I expect atleast another 80 years with this man.
Tonight we have a date, and I am so excited. It is wonderful for us to be able to go out and have some time alone today. I am so happy that he was able to be here this year for it. He has missed a couple so we are going to make the very best of this one. :)

I've got some updates to do...I know

She is thinking of being mouthy. Can't ya tell?
Crazy! Thats all I can say.

So pretty!
Singing in the rain.
After a long hard night. I'm pretty sure this is how the cold came to our house. hehe
Yogurt and fruity pebbles. What could be better?
Pig tails on my little piggy.
She loves being outside and in or around the water

Things have just been moving along so quickly around here. I just haven't found the time to update. I am a bad blogger I know.

Adrianna started school on Aug. 1st. Kenneth will start on Sept. 2. We have been busy getting all of the school things done. We have had to school shopping, and let me tell you, that was so fun. Haha not really. Adrianna has gotten so picky as she has gotten older. It makes it really difficult to choose things when her favorite thing to do is to argue with anything I have to say. I used to just pick out what I thought was cute and she would just be thrilled. Yeah not anymore. Now she has to make all of the decisions all on her own. Anyway, she has been in school just over a week now and she really seems to like her teacher and her classmates. I'm glad its going okay for her, she needs that time at school and away from us as much as I do. Now if I could just get Kenneth ready for school we will be set.

Chris is officially off crew now! I am so excited. I finally see the silver lining of this crappy cloud called sea duty. :) I now get to look forward to seeing him at least a little more. It is so nice to have him home by dinner and to be able to plan events on the weekends and know that he should be able to be there. It has been a long time coming and I am so glad its finally here. At least for a few months. So lets get a hooray for off crew!

So really we have just been hanging out, and trying to stay cool. It is so stinking hot here we almost melt if we go outside during the day. Its usually about 6:30 before we get outside to play for awhile. I can't wait for the cooler weather and all of the holidays. This is getting to my favorite time of the year. I love when school starts back, then its Halloween, then Thanksgiving, yay, then Christmas. I love this time of year!

I've also been trying to get well. I caught a cold. As did all 3 of the kids. We are slowly getting over it. I hope to be 100% soon.

Chris and I have an anniversary coming up on Friday. I was making plans to take him out and surprise him. But today he came home and tried to throw a surprise on me, so now its not really a surprise anymore. He wanted to go to SeaWorld for the weekend. Which is something that I have looked very forward to doing, but I just don't think that right now is the best time for it. It is so hot out during the day that I think the kids would be miserable there. I hope to go sometime later in the year. We'll see how it goes.

Well here are a few pictures of us just hanging out, and the kids being silly. Enjoy! Let me know who I have reading still.

Now this is my future rock star. This is his favorite song. And the jerky arm movements are air guitar (I think). And the excuse me in the middle was because he tooted. He has to use his manners even when he rockin out.

Soon...

I will be doing an update with pictures soon. I haven't really had alot to blog about lately other than my crazy little boy. He is a wild man. But I will try to upload some pictures tomorrow. Sorry for the long time since a post.
